Our office is room 812 in the Cosmos building, which is in Sector-11 of CBD Belapur. It’s a high-rise area in Navi Mumbai, so we have a pretty decent view of the surroundings from the eighth floor. We’ve been operating from this unit for a couple of years now. It’s a compact space, mostly filled with computers and testing boards. We do a lot of technical support and electronics work. It can get a bit cramped when the whole team is in at the same time. We usually have some light music playing in the background to keep things from getting too dull during the day. The elevator in Cosmos is usually crowded, so we try to time our lunch breaks to avoid the rush. There are plenty of small eateries around Sector-11, so we never go hungry. The office has that distinct smell of solder and old electronics. We aren't really into the whole "tech startup" aesthetic with beanbags and ping pong tables. We just have sturdy desks and good chairs because we spend a lot of time sitting down. It’s a straightforward setup. Most of our clients just call us on the phone, so we don't worry too much about the decor or looking fancy. As long as the internet is fast and the coffee is hot, we are doing alright. CBD Belapur is a good hub for us, easy to get to by the local train.
