Laxmi Surgical Centre

The place is right opposite the Khenager Municipal School. You can usually hear the kids playing or the school bell ringing throughout the day. It’s building 10/480, and it has been our spot for a good while. We handle surgical cases here, mostly the smaller things that don't need a massive hospital stay. The waiting area is usually full of people from the local area. It gets a bit noisy with the street traffic and the school right there, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big reception desk. It is a practical space for doctors to do their jobs and for patients to recover for a bit. We start early because that is when most people want their procedures done. The afternoon is usually spent doing paperwork or cleaning up the rooms for the next day. It’s a lot of manual work, making sure everything is where it should be. The staff has been here for years, so we all know how the other person works without having to say much. It isn’t a high-tech glass building. It’s just a regular clinic in a busy part of town. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the monsoon hits hard, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and handle the patients as they come through the door.
