Bakul Parekh Childrens Hospital

Our place is up on the 4th floor of Jayant Arcade. It is right above the Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers, so that is usually how people find us when they are coming down M G Road. Being in Ghatkopar East, especially near the Rajawadi area, means things are always loud outside. We have the elevator that brings everyone up to the fourth floor, which is good because parents are often carrying small kids. The hospital isn't a quiet library, that’s for sure. There is usually a baby crying somewhere or a toddler running down the hallway. We have the beds and the medical stuff you’d expect for children. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, but we stay up here away from the direct street dust. The windows look out over the Singal area and the traffic below. We spend our hours checking temperatures and making sure the kids are okay. It is a lot of routine work, honestly. Cleaning up, writing down notes, and talking to worried parents. We have been here long enough that the walls have seen a lot of families come and go. It’s just a regular hospital floor where we try to get through the daily tasks. M G Road is always packed, so we suggest leaving early to get here on time. It can be a long day, but we just keep at it until the last patient finally leaves and the lights go down.
