Jnr Children Eye Care & Squint Clinic

Our eye clinic is over in Borivali West, specifically in the Dama Vila Society near Kalpana Chawla Chowk. We are on RM Bhattad Marg in Haridas Nagar. It is a residential area, so it feels a bit more like a home than a sterile medical office. Since we deal with children’s eyes and squint issues, the waiting room is usually full of toys and some colorful posters on the walls to keep the kids from getting too bored. There is always a bit of noise—babies crying or toddlers running around while their parents try to keep them still. We have the eye charts with pictures instead of letters for the little ones who cannot read yet. The equipment is all kept in the back rooms where it is a bit darker so we can do the exams properly. Sometimes the kids get scared of the big machines, so we have to take our time and talk to them. The society where we are located is quite old, so the parking can be a bit of a struggle for the parents who drive here. We have a small staff and we have been working together for a long time. It is just a local clinic where we focus on checking kids' vision and making sure their eyes are working right. It isn't very fancy, just a practical space with some dusty corners and a lot of eye testing tools lying around ready for the next patient.
