Dr Faizan Bhoiras Child Care Clinic

Our child care clinic, run by Dr Faizan Bhoira, is located right at Nagpada Junction. This is a very lively part of the city, and we are situated directly opposite Sagar Hotel. If you know that intersection, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people passing through. Because we see children all day, the clinic is often quite noisy. There is usually at least one kid crying or someone running around the chairs in the waiting room. We try to keep things a bit cheerful with some posters on the walls, but it’s mostly just a functional space. We have the usual stuff like weighing scales and height charts. The office is a bit small, and the furniture has seen better days, but it works for what we need. It can be a bit chaotic when a lot of families arrive at once, especially with the noise from the junction coming in through the door. I spend most of my time checking on the little ones and talking to their parents about shots or common colds. It is a lot of hand-washing and making sure everything is wiped down. We’ve been a part of the Nagpada community for a while now, and we see many of the same kids growing up over the years. It’s a busy, sometimes messy, but very rewarding kind of job. We just take each day as it comes and try to help the families who live nearby.
