Lata Steels

Lata Steels is located at Plot No-45 on Islampura Street. This is in the Khetwadi area of Girgaon, which is one of those places where every building is close together. It’s a very busy neighborhood. There is always someone hauling something down the street. We deal mostly with steel here, so it is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or scrap. It’s not a place for nice clothes. We spend most of our time talking to customers who come in from the street. Islampura Street is narrow, so when a truck comes in, everything else has to stop. It’s just how things are in Girgaon. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners around us. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes it’s quiet, but usually, it’s quite chaotic with the noise of the city right outside the door. We don't have a big office staff or anything. Just us at the counter or in the back handling the stock. It’s a basic setup for a basic business. If you are looking for Plot 45, just look for the stacks of metal. We don't need much else to keep going. It is just honest work in a crowded city like this.
