Lahejjat Tea

You can find us at the Kanara Business Centre, which is right near Everest Garden on Link Road in Ghatkopar East. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always a lot of traffic noise coming up from the road below. Our office is B/211. When you walk in, you’ll see lots of tea samples and boxes piled up against the walls. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a place where we get things done. We spend a lot of time tasting tea and deciding what’s okay to send out to customers. There are always kettles boiling and small cups sitting on the tables around the room. The staff here has been together for a while, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to be done next. We handle the shipping and the orders from this small room. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we have to shuffle things around to make space to walk between the desks. The windows look out towards the garden, which is a nice change from looking at the computer screens all day long. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the tea we handle is decent enough for people. It’s a simple routine of checking stock, talking to suppliers, and making sure the packets are sealed right. It is just a normal day for us in Ghatkopar.
