Labdhi Steel

We are based in the Nar Marol Co-Op Industrial Estate, just off the Andheri Kurla Road. It is a prime location but the traffic on the main road can be a real headache when we are trying to get deliveries in or out of the gate. Our place is at Plot No. 10/49. We deal with steel products, mostly stocking and supplying different grades of metal to various businesses around the city. The warehouse is pretty packed with inventory, so moving around inside can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the counts are right because mistakes can cause big problems later. It is a lot of paperwork and manual labor. We don't have a polished office; it’s more of a functional space where we can sit and talk to customers or handle the bills. The environment is typical for Marol—busy, noisy, and always something happening nearby. We have a small team, and everyone chips in with the loading and unloading when the trucks arrive. It is not glamorous work, and the dust from the steel gets on everything, including your clothes and hair. We have been here for years, and we know the other business owners in the estate pretty well. We just focus on keeping the steel moving and making sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up. It’s a straightforward business and we just do our best to keep everything running smooth.
