Lab Aids International

Our little corner is at 110 in the Universal Indl. Estate, right on Versova Road in Andheri West. We are directly across from the Sports Complex, so we get to hear the cheers from the games sometimes. Lab Aids International is the name we use. We have been in this industrial estate for a long time. It is a bit of a maze in here with all the different units and workshops. Our place is packed with lab supplies and glassware. You have to be careful where you step because there is usually a crate or a box in the way. It is not a showroom by any means. It is just a place where we get work done. Andheri is always moving fast and it can be a bit over-whelming, but inside the estate, things feel a bit more manageable. We have a small group of people who have worked here for years. We know the security guards and the delivery drivers by name. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked and the orders going out on time. It is a simple, practical way to run a business. We like the neighborhood and the people around us. It is just a regular day-to-day life for us here.
