Working at Kworto Fine Arts Quality Printers means spending a lot of time in our 1st-floor space in the industrial building on Dr E Moses Road. Worli West is a pretty active area and being at 16 105 111 puts us right in the middle of all the industrial action. We have a lot of heavy equipment for the kind of printing we do, and the floor usually vibrates a bit when everything is running at once. It is not the quietest place to work, but we are used to the noise of the presses and the smell of the shop. We do a lot of fine arts stuff which requires more attention than just regular copying, so we spend a lot of time staring at proofs and adjusting things by hand. The light in the building isn't always the best, so we have some extra lamps around the desks to help us see the details. It is a bit of an old-school way of working, but it works for us. We are just a small crew and most of us have been doing this for a long time. We don't really do much advertising because most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking into the building. Dr E Moses Road is a long stretch and we are just one of many businesses here, but we take a bit of pride in the work that comes out of our 1st-floor unit. It is practical work and we try to keep things moving.
