Up Steel Mart

We are located over at No. 4 near Dargah Gali Road in Kumalwada. It's a busy little corner of the world. We have been running this steel mart for a long time, and most of our day is spent moving heavy pieces of metal around or talking to contractors who need supplies for their jobs. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it organized so we can find what people need quickly. It can get pretty hot and dusty in here, especially when the sun is hitting the metal plates outside. We deal with all sorts of people, from big builders to folks just looking for a single pipe to fix something at home. We don't have any fancy displays or a big showroom. It’s just a practical place where you come to get your steel and go. Often, we’re out back checking the stock or making sure the deliveries are loaded correctly. Kumalwada is a lively place to work, and being near the Dargah means there’s always something happening on the street. We’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers around here over the years. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We sell steel, we keep track of our numbers, and we go home at the end of the day. If you need a specific size, we usually have it buried somewhere in the stacks. It takes some muscle to move things, but that’s the job.
