Krishna Solar Systems

Our place is over at unit 207 in the Pioneer Industrial Estate. It’s tucked away in Jogeshwari East, just off the Old Madras Road. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded with trucks and tempos during the day. We’ve been operating out of this industrial block for a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of tools and the occasional radio playing in the background while we check the solar systems. The estate has its quirks, like the occasional power cut or the narrow lanes that make deliveries a bit of a headache. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. Just the name on the door. Inside, it’s mostly racks of equipment and a small corner where we sit down to do the accounts. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We deal with a lot of local contractors and people from the nearby neighborhoods who want to set something up on their roofs. It’s dusty work sometimes but we like being in the middle of all the industrial activity. There’s a good sense of community among the businesses here. We usually grab lunch from the small canteen near the entrance of the estate. It's just a regular day-to-day operation for us.
