Korus Steels

We are based at 30 Girgaon Shitladevi Co Operative Society, which is over on the New Link Road. Dhiraj Bhawan is the name of our building, and we are quite close to where the Alankar Cinema used to be. It’s a very busy part of the city. Dealing with steel is heavy and loud work, so our office is usually a bit of a mess with papers and samples. We’ve been in this building for many years now. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but our work stays pretty much the same. We spend most of our time checking orders and making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a clean shirt for very long. We just get on with it. The noise from the Link Road is constant, but you stop hearing it after a while. We aren't big on marketing or trying to sound important. We just know about steel and we handle the business side of it. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone. That’s just life here. We have a small team and we all know what needs doing. It’s a practical, honest way to spend the day. No frills, just metal and hard work. That is how we have always done it.
