We operate out of Shop No 45 in the Kamlesh Apartment building on Mahakali Caves Road. It’s in Andheri East, right in the middle of a very busy residential and commercial area. Having the school office in a shop unit might seem a bit different, but it’s what we’ve had for a long time and it works for us. It’s not a large space at all. We have our desks, the cabinets for all the student records, and a few chairs for visitors. It can get pretty cramped when a few parents come in at the same time to talk to us. We don’t have any corporate branding or fancy lobby. It’s just a functional room where the work happens. The noise from the street is always there, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our day handling the paperwork and organizing the classes. It’s a very hands-on job for the few of us who work here. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on the sign outside and the fact that we’ve been here for years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door for some light. It’s a very local, simple way of doing things. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It's just our office in the apartment building where we manage the school business every day.
