Kohinoor Steel Trade

Our place is at 224-A in Mazgaon. It’s an old industrial area and our building has seen better days, but it works for us. We trade in steel, so there is always a lot of heavy metal moving around. Trucks come and go from the narrow streets nearby. The air smells a bit like iron and exhaust. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking the weight of the loads. It’s not a clean job, and our clothes usually end up with some grease or rust on them. We have a small office area tucked in the corner with a couple of chairs and a table that wobbles. Most of the space is just for the steel stock. It can get very loud when the metal pipes or sheets are being moved around. Mazgaon is a busy part of the city, and we are right in the middle of it. We don't really worry about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s about getting the steel from one place to another. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet just to get some fresh air. We have been doing this for a long time and know the business inside out. It’s just us, the steel, and the daily grind of the city. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything, just our address. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just driving past.
