Kohinoor International School

We are located right in the middle of Kohinoor City, just off LBS Road on Kirol Road in Kurla West. It’s a busy area and things are always moving outside. The school is part of a larger complex, so there are always people around. We have a decent building with all the regular stuff you’d expect like classrooms and a place for the kids to sit during lunch. We aren't really into the polished corporate way of doing things. We’re just a bunch of teachers and staff trying to run a school the right way. The kids come in from all over Kurla and Vidya Vihar, so the mornings are always a bit of a mess with traffic and buses. Inside, we try to keep things organized, even though it can get a bit hectic between classes. We don't have any big missions or grand visions to talk about. We just teach the subjects and hope the kids get it. The hallways are usually full of posters and student projects. Sometimes the elevators are slow or the playground gets a bit dusty, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s a practical place for families who live in this part of the city. We have a lot of work to do every day, from grading papers to fixing chairs, and we just get it done. It’s a normal school for normal kids, and we like it that way because it feels real.
