Kods Imf is situated on the first floor of Leela Mansion, which is Plot-21/23 on Ardeshir Dadi Street. This is right in the middle of the C P Tank area in Girgaon. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how packed and lively it gets. Our office is a small space where we deal with insurance marketing. It’s mostly us talking to people about different insurance policies and helping them fill out the forms. We have a lot of folders stacked up and the phones ring fairly often. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s an old building with character, and sometimes the lift is a bit moody, so we just take the stairs. We spend a lot of time explaining the fine print to people who find insurance confusing. Mumbai life is fast, but we try to slow down when we’re talking to a client. We don’t use any complicated jargon if we can help it. It’s better to just speak plainly. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning cutting chai, and that’s a big part of our daily routine. We’ve been in Girgaon for a while and we like being part of the local bustle. It’s honest work, keeping track of policies and making sure the paperwork gets to the right place. We don't make big claims, we just do the job as it comes.
