Kitchen Tech

Our shop is tucked away at number 44 inside the Whispering Palmx Shopping Center. It’s right in the middle of Lokhandwala Township on Alurli Road. Kandiwali East has changed a lot since we first opened Kitchen Tech, with more buildings going up every year. Our space is small, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of kitchen gadgets and parts into it. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a crate. We spend a lot of our time helping people find the right parts for their ovens or mixers. It’s not always easy because there are so many different models out there now. Sometimes we have to spend a while looking through old books to find a match. The shopping center gets busy on weekends, but during the week, it’s mostly just us and the regulars. We aren't interested in being the biggest store in the township. We just want to be the place where people can get a straight answer about their kitchen gear. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't great, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, managing the walk-ins and the phone calls, but we’ve gotten into a rhythm over the years. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s a good way to live.
