Kisan National School

We are up on the second floor of the Gondivali Municipal School building right here on Andheri Kurla Road. If you know this part of Andheri East, you know how busy it gets outside with all the traffic and people heading to work. We have been in this spot for a while now. It is a bit of a walk up the stairs, but that is just how the building is set up. The rooms are what they are, nothing fancy, but they work for what we need to do every day. Most of the families around here know where we are because we are so close to the main road. It gets a little noisy sometimes with the trucks going by, but you get used to it after a week or so. We mostly just focus on getting through the lessons and making sure everyone shows up on time. The space is shared with the municipal school, so there is always something going on in the hallways or downstairs. It is a practical setup for a school in this part of Mumbai. We don't have a big playground or anything like that, but we make do with the space we have. It’s just a normal place where kids come to learn their subjects and then head home to their families in the neighborhood. We keep things simple and try to keep the place tidy despite all the dust from the road.
