Kisan H S School

Kisan H S School is found on Sant Mirabai Road in the Ghartanpada area of Dahisar East. It’s a busy part of Mumbai 400068. We have been here for a while, serving the local families in this neighborhood. The school isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but it’s what goes on inside that matters to us. We handle high school students mostly. The road outside can get quite loud with the rickshaws and people passing by, but we have our routine down. Our teachers are local folks who have been teaching for a long time. We don't use a lot of corporate language or have big mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting the students ready for their exams and making sure they understand their lessons. The building is functional. We have the usual classrooms and a small office for the paperwork. It’s a place where kids from the nearby chawls and apartments come to learn. We try to keep things simple and affordable. There aren't many frills here. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we rely on the fact that people in Ghartanpada know who we are. It’s a community school through and through. We open up early in the morning and the halls are full of students until the afternoon. It’s just regular life for us here on Sant Mirabai Road. We like being part of this local area and seeing the kids succeed in their own way.
