Kirti Kumar Steel Udyog

Kirti Kumar Steel Udyog is down in Dongri, specifically at G 2 in the Giriraj Building. We are located within the Ketan Metal Compound, right on Fire Station Lane. As you can guess from the name of the compound, there is a lot of metal moving around here. It can get pretty loud with the trucks and the sound of things being shifted. The office is right on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to just walk in. It’s a bit of a grit-and-grind type of place. We have stacks of papers and samples sitting around. The air usually smells a bit like iron and dust. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. It’s not the cleanest neighborhood, but it’s where the work happens. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and checking on orders that need to go out. The fire station is right there, so you hear the sirens every now and then. It’s just part of the atmosphere. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it wouldn't make sense here. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we are just regular folks working in the steel trade. It’s a tough business but we are used to it, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if things were quiet.
