You can find us right on the ground floor of Plot Number 12 in the Kumkum Co-Operative Housing Society. Being in Kandivali West, the neighborhood is always busy. Since we are on the ground floor, it’s easy for everyone to get in and out without having to deal with stairs or lifts. It’s a simple setup we have here. We’ve been part of this society for a while, so most of the neighbors know us. The classrooms aren't very big, but we make use of the space we have. There’s a bit of a yard area outside where people wait. Sometimes it gets a little loud when the kids are moving between classes, but that’s just how schools are. We don’t have a big fancy office; usually, someone is just sitting at a table near the door. We handle the paperwork and talk to parents right there. It’s a practical way to do things. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Mumbai. We try to keep things tidy, though with so many people coming through, it’s a constant job. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a place where kids come to study their regular subjects and then head home. Most of our students live within walking distance. It’s a local school for local people, really. Nothing more to it than that. We just keep things moving and focus on the day to day.
