Kilbil National School

Kilbil National School is in the Swati Building, right on North Avenue Road in Santacruz West. We are in unit 101. It’s a nice area, quite different from the busier parts of the city. The building is easy to find, and we’ve been here for a while now. Inside, the classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like desks, chairs, and some charts on the walls about history or science. We don't have a massive playground, so the kids do their activities in the hall or on the smaller open space we have. Santacruz has a certain feel to it, and we are glad to be part of the 400054 community. Every morning starts with the sound of the gate opening and parents dropping their kids off before heading to the station. We handle the admin work ourselves, often sitting at a crowded desk near the entrance. It's not a corporate environment at all. We know the names of the families who come here. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb flickers, and we just fix it as we go along. It’s a very hands-on way of running a school. We just want the kids to have a place to sit and learn without too much fuss. It's a simple, local school and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just open up in the morning and do our best with what we have for the students. It works for us.
