Kilbil Group Of School & College is located at 45 Park Street in Mahada Lane. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it a little quieter for the students who come here. We have both school and college-level things going on, so the age range of people in the hallways is quite wide. Some days it feels a bit cramped when the classes change over, but we make it work somehow. The building is an older one, so it has that specific smell of chalk and old paper. We spend a lot of time at our desks in the staff room, trying to keep up with all the grading and attendance. The Mumbai heat is always a factor, so we have the windows open as much as possible to get a breeze. This part of Andheri West, 400053, is where most of us live too, so it’s a local commute for the staff. We don't have a big cafeteria, just a small area where people eat their tiffins. You’ll often see teachers and students sharing the same space during the breaks. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. There isn't any high-tech security, just a watchman at the gate who knows most of the faces. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, there’s always a stray pen or a notebook somewhere on the floor. It’s just a regular, functioning school and college setup for the community nearby. We keep it simple and stay busy.
