You can find Khanolkar & Co at 106 Dadar West, right near the Mhatre Pen Complex. Being in Dadar means it’s always crowded outside and there’s a constant hum of people moving around. Our office is a quiet corner compared to the street, though we stay pretty busy with all the folders and documents that pile up. We’ve been working out of this space for a long time, and the shelves are mostly full of old records and reference books. Most of the work involves sitting down with clients and going over their papers one by one. It’s a lot of reading and checking figures to make sure everything lines up like it should. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a standard workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes people get a bit lost looking for the entrance near the complex, so we often have to give directions over the phone. The morning usually starts with sorting through the mail and catching up on what needs to be filed by the end of the day. We don’t really use a lot of fancy technology, just the usual computers and a printer that occasionally acts up. It’s just a regular local business where we know our neighbors and focus on the tasks at hand without making a big deal out of it. We keep things straightforward and simple here in Dadar.
