Khan Foods & Beverages

We are located at Plot No- 36 in the Baigan Wadi area of Govandi. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Khan Foods & Beverages is basically a small operation where we handle a mix of food items and different drinks. The streets around here are always full of people and activity. We started this because we wanted to have a place of our own in the community. It’s a lot of work, staying open late and making sure we have enough stock for everyone who comes by. We get a lot of kids coming in for snacks after school lets out. The space isn’t very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the boxes. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a big delivery in from the suppliers. Govandi is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we chat a lot with whoever walks through the door. We don’t use any fancy computer systems, just a notebook to keep track of things. It’s an honest living and we enjoy being part of the daily life here in Baigan Wadi. The building is a bit old, and we’ve had to fix the front door a few times, but it serves its purpose well enough. We keep the fridge running cold and the shelves as full as we can. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people trying to get by.
