Keytex

Our shop is at 5/C-188 in the Mittal Industrial Estate. It’s right in the heart of Sakinaka, which is a very crowded place to work. There are workshops and small factories all around us. You can hear the sound of machines and people working from every direction. At Keytex, we’ve been doing this for a long time. The space is a bit tight, but we make it work somehow. We have our machines set up to maximize every inch we have available. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a working industrial unit, so that’s expected. We handle a lot of textile-related work and some other manufacturing tasks. Most of our day is spent making sure the machines are running right and the output is good quality. We don't do fancy presentations or brochures. If a customer comes by, we just show them what we're making right there on the floor. It’s straightforward. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time, so we’re like a small family. We have tea twice a day, and that’s when we catch up on things. It’s a noisy, busy life in Andheri East, but we’re used to it by now. We just want to keep the production going and make sure we meet our commitments on time. There’s no secret to it, just showing up and doing the work every single day. The estate is old, but it’s where we belong and where we get things done.
