Kedar Metal

We are over at Kedar Metal, located near Grant Road and Hazira Road in the Palanpur Patia area of Surat. It’s a very industrial part of the city, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machinery somewhere in the distance. Our building is a bit dusty because of all the activity on the roads nearby, but that’s just part of being in Surat. We deal with metals, so the office and the workspace are designed for being tough rather than looking pretty. We have some heavy desks and a lot of metal cabinets where we keep everything organized. The guys here are used to the heat and the noise, and we just get on with it. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it wouldn't make sense for what we do. People come to us because they know where to find us in the Surat 3 district and they know we’ve been here for a good while. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the inventory out back. It’s a hard-working environment, and we don't have any time for corporate speak or polished presentations. We just tell it like it is and get the metal moved or the orders filled. Sometimes we have our lunch together in the small back room, just talking about normal things. It’s a practical business run by people who know the local area and the work inside out.
