We operate out of Goradia House, specifically Plot No. 100/104 in the M-1 section. It’s a solid building where we’ve set up our trading operations over the years. The office is a hub of activity with papers being shuffled and phones ringing throughout the day. We focus on trade-linking, which keeps us busy with a lot of different suppliers and buyers from all over. There isn't anything particularly special about the office decor. We have our desks, our chairs, and a small area for files that seems to keep growing. We spend a lot of time checking prices and confirming shipping dates with the transporters. Goradia House has a lot of history and it’s a well-known spot in this neighborhood. We like being part of the local business community here. The staff is small, but we’ve worked together for a long time, so we know how to handle the rush. We don't use much corporate jargon; we just talk about what needs to get done before the day ends. Sometimes the days are long, especially when there are delays at the port, but that’s just part of the trade. We drink a lot of tea and stay focused on the tasks at hand. Our office is just a place where we try to do decent work every day. We don’t go for anything over the top or fancy. It’s just about keeping the links in the trade chain moving as they should for our clients.
