Our base is at 4 Danda, which is right near the Siddhivinayak Temple. It’s a very busy area, as you can imagine. There are always people around, especially on Tuesdays. We started Kavita Cool Cab & Tour Travels because we knew the area well. Our office is small, just enough for us to manage the bookings. We spend a lot of time on our mobiles, checking where the cars are. The cars are usually parked nearby when they aren't out on a run. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us trying to keep the cabs moving and the customers happy. We know the shortcuts around the temple and the best ways to get through the city traffic. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, or the roads are blocked, but we just manage it. We don't have a lot of fancy brochures. Most people just call us or walk in because they saw our sign near the temple. We keep things simple. We have our regulars who use us every week. It’s a tough business with a lot of competition, but we stay busy enough. We just focus on the daily driving and the next booking. Whether it’s a quick drop or a longer tour, we just handle the logistics as they come.
