Katariya & Co

Our shop, Katariya & Co, is located at 156, New No: 323, right on Thambu Chetty Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s always packed with people and vehicles. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a while. It’s an old building, but it serves us well for what we do. We mostly handle hardware and industrial supplies, though the stock changes depending on what people are asking for lately. The shelves are pretty high and filled with boxes of all sizes. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer needs, but we usually know where everything is hidden. The street outside is noisy, with horns honking all day, but inside we just focus on the paperwork and the orders. My brother and I usually handle the front, while a couple of guys help with moving the heavy crates in the back. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning to evening. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big ads. Most of our customers come because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them we had what they needed. We try to keep things simple and honest. Thambu Chetty Street is a tough place to navigate, but we are always here. Just look for the old sign and the door that sticks a little bit.
