Kasim Steel Traders

Kasim Steel Traders operates out of Shop No 66 in the Audh Chs area of Bernal Ma. It’s right in Andheri East, near the old vegetable market. Being close to the market means it’s always lively around here, especially in the early mornings when the trucks arrive. We’re directly opposite the Asha Krishna Building. Our shop is where we keep the steel supplies, so it’s a very functional, heavy-duty kind of place. You won't find any plush carpets or fancy lights here. It’s mostly metal, dust, and the smell of industrial materials. We’ve got a simple system for stacking the stock so we can get to it quickly when a customer comes in. The shop is small but we use every inch of it. Outside, you can hear the vendors at the vegetable market shouting and the traffic piling up on the narrow roads. It’s a real neighborhood vibe, not like those sterile business parks. We know the people who live in the building above and the other traders on the street. It’s a tough, physical job sometimes, moving the steel around, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. The shop has been here for a long time, and it shows in the wear and tear of the doors and the counters. We just open up early, do our business with the people who need steel, and close up when the day is done.
