Karma Steels Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Matunga. Our office is in Satya Sadan, specifically rooms 501 and 502. Bhimani Street is one of those places that stays busy from early morning until late at night. Dealing in steel means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking prices. It’s a traditional setup. We don’t have those open-plan offices you see in magazines. Instead, it’s desks piled with ledgers and samples of steel. Matunga has its own vibe, very different from the industrial zones. You can always smell something good cooking from the nearby cafes during lunch. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. The walls could probably tell a lot of stories about the steel trade. We aren’t really interested in being the biggest or the flashiest company. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the deliveries happen when they should. Sometimes the traffic on Bhimani Street makes it hard to get anywhere, but we’re used to it. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how the others work. We don't use much technology beyond what's necessary to get the job done. It’s an honest way to make a living, and being in the heart of the city keeps us close to everything. We just keep our heads down and handle the steel business as it comes, one day at a time.
