Karishma Metal Industries

Karishma Metal Industries is located down Kodivita Lane in the New Empire Industrial Estate. Being in Andheri East means it’s always loud and crowded, but that’s just the nature of an industrial area. Our unit at A-56 has been our home for a long time. It’s a place where there is always the smell of metal and the sound of machines or tools being moved around on the floor. We don't have a quiet office with carpets and air conditioning; it’s mostly concrete and metal here. The guys working here have been with us through plenty of busy seasons. We don't put on an act for anyone who visits. If we're busy, the place looks busy. There’s dust and there are metal scraps, but that’s how you know work is actually happening. We spend most of our time making sure the production stays on track and that the stuff we make is solid. It’s a hands-on kind of business where even the owners might end up with dirty hands by the end of the shift. We know our neighbors in the estate well, and we help each other out when a machine breaks or someone needs a hand loading a truck. It’s a community of makers and workers. We don't have time for corporate talk or long meetings that don't go anywhere. We just look at the orders and get the metal moving. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know and what we do.
