Our office is over in Mulund East. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to some of the other more hectic parts of Mumbai, which is nice for getting our work done. We’ve been operating as Karandikar Cashell for a while now, mostly dealing with the usual paperwork and the technical side of things that comes with running a private limited company. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we keep all our files and the computers. Most of our mornings start with a cup of tea and looking through the emails that came in overnight. There are just a few of us here, and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works fine for us. We spend a lot of our time on the phones or looking at big spreadsheets. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front windows, but we have the fans going. Sometimes clients drop by to sign things, but mostly it's just us. We don't spend money on big signs. People who need us usually know where to find us in Mulund. It’s steady work. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just doing the job right and making sure the details are handled. It gets a bit repetitive sometimes, but that’s how this kind of business goes. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and everyone moving forward.
