Kani Metal Industries

Kani Metal Industries is tucked away at No. 14 in the Chandu Studio Complex over in Kalina, Santacruz East. This part of Mumbai is always moving. Our workshop is no different. We spend our days working with metal, so there is usually a lot of noise from the machines and tools. It can get pretty hot and dusty inside. This is especially true when we have a lot of orders to get through. We are a small team. Most of us have been working with our hands for a long time. The complex itself is home to many different small units. There is always someone coming or going. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. Usually, we just talk to people right there on the shop floor among the scraps and the finished parts. It is a practical way to work. We take on all sorts of metal jobs. Some are small and some are a bit more involved. Being in Santacruz East is convenient for transport. The traffic is a nightmare sometimes, but we manage. We just focus on getting the work done and keeping the machines in good shape. It is a simple life of labor and making things. We are not interested in corporate talk. We just show up, do the metal work, and head home after a long day. It is an honest day's work in a busy city.
