Kanchan Steel

Kanchan Steel has been at 18 Bhandari Street for a long time now. You can find us right near the Round Temple in 1st Kumbharwada. It’s one of those busy parts of town where there is always something going on outside. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep our steel stock and handle the daily paperwork. Most days start with us rolling up the shutters and checking what needs to be moved or loaded. Since we are in such a crowded area, getting trucks in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. People drop by asking for different things, and we do what we can to help them find what they need in the piles we have. It gets pretty loud with the traffic nearby, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We don't have a huge staff or a fancy showroom. It's mostly just us working through the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with old ledgers and pens that barely work, but it suits us fine. We’ve known the other shopkeepers around here for years, so it feels like a little community. We just keep our heads down and get the work done day after day. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening when we finally head home.
