Kamlesh Plastics

Kamlesh Plastics is tucked away in the Reddy Compound on Sunder Lane in Malad West. We’re in Gala number 7 and 8, which gives us a bit of room for our machines and the stock we keep on hand. It’s a typical industrial setup—nothing too pretty to look at, but it’s where we get the work done every day. The sound of the plastic molding machines is pretty much the background music to our lives here. We’ve been in Malad for years and we know the lanes around here like the back of our hands. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the plastic items we’re making or packing things up for delivery. It can get pretty hot in the summer with the machines running, so we usually have the big industrial fans going full blast to keep us cool. We don’t have a separate office for meetings or anything; if you come by, we’ll probably just talk right there on the factory floor. It’s a small team, mostly just us and a few workers who have been with us since we first started out. We don't use any fancy management techniques or software. We just look at the orders and make sure the machines are running exactly as they should be. It’s a bit dusty and noisy, but it’s our livelihood and we're proud of it. People in the area know us as the place to go if they need reliable plastic parts.
