Shree Plastometch

We’re over on Senapati Bapat Marg, in the Raghuvanshi Mansion building. Our office is number one on the second floor of building twelve. It’s a large complex and can be a bit confusing if it’s your first time visiting, but you just look for the signs. We work with plastics and metals, mostly on the technical and supply side of things. The office has a bit of an industrial feel because of the samples we keep lying around. There are pieces of molded plastic and metal parts on almost every flat surface. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. The noise from the street is constant, but we’ve got some heavy windows that help a little. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and checking measurements. Our team is small, just a handful of us who have been doing this for years. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to break the silence. The floor is that old-style tile that’s easy to clean when we track in dirt from the sites. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some instant packets in the cupboard. It’s a place where we come to work hard and get things shipped out. We take our lunch breaks at different times so someone is always there to answer the phone. Sometimes we get samples that don't turn out right, and they just sit on the shelf as a reminder.
