Select Packaging

Our place is at B-74 in the Balaji Industrial Premises. It is right there in Hanuman Nagar, Kandivli East. If you know the Mahindra Yellow Gate, we are just opposite that. We do a lot of packaging work for different people in the neighborhood. The shop is usually full of boxes and rolls of tape. It gets pretty loud during the day because of the machines and the trucks passing by outside. We have been here for several years now. It is a straightforward setup. We do not have a fancy front office or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. My brother and a couple of guys help with the heavy lifting and the packing machines. Sometimes the traffic near the gate makes it hard for deliveries to arrive on time, but we manage. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and the afternoons getting the orders ready for pickup. It is a small space, so we have to stay organized. There is always a lot of dust because of all the cardboard, so we clean up every evening. We do not really do ads. Most people just find us because they work nearby or someone told them about us. It is a busy life here in Kandivli. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get everything out the door by the end of the shift. The weather gets hot inside the industrial unit, but the fans help a bit.
