Kamla Travels

Our office is at 273/7 Ghoga Street and it is inside the Shamji Valji Building on the first main road. If you are having trouble finding us just look for the HDFC Bank ATM centre because we are right near that. Kamla Travels has been operating out of this small space for years and it gets pretty cramped when we have a lot of people coming in to book tickets at the same time. The building is an old one so the stairs can be a bit narrow and you might have to wait a minute for people to pass on their way up or down. We spend most of our day on the phone or checking the computer for bus and train schedules. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside but we are used to the noise of the street by now. The office usually has stacks of papers and old ledgers on the desks because we still like to write things down sometimes instead of putting everything on the screen. We know the local guys who work at the ATM and the tea stall nearby. It is a very normal place with no fancy decorations or anything like that. We just sit here and try to help people figure out how to get where they are going without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to ask people to wait a bit but usually it is fine. It is just us working hard every day to make sure the bookings are done right.
