Kalko Container Lines Pvt. Ltd. is based in the Oberoi Gardens Estate, specifically at C-1114 on the 1st floor. We are off Saki Vihar Road in Chandivali, which is a very industrial and busy part of Andheri East. There is always some sort of construction going on around here, and the roads are usually full of trucks and vans. Our office is a busy place because container shipping never really stops. We have people coming in and out all day, and the phones are almost always busy. We focus on getting containers from one place to another without them getting stuck somewhere along the way. It’s a lot of tracking numbers and customs talk. The office itself is pretty functional—we have some desks, a pantry for tea, and enough filing cabinets to fill a house. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that doesn't help move containers. It can get a bit loud with the industrial noise nearby, but we just shut the windows and get on with it. We have a small team of people who have been doing this for a long time, so we know the tricks of the trade. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is steady and it keeps us on our toes. We just try to be reliable and get the work done as it comes in.
