Our workshop is located out at 3 Charni Road, over by the Malti Cottage Bus Stop. It is a bit of a ride out toward Madh Island on the Madh Marve Road. We are in the R K Building, quite close to the old Alankar Cinema. If you know that area, you know it can get a bit crowded with the buses and the local traffic. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit dusty and there is the smell of metal everywhere. That is just the nature of steel and engineering work. We have been in this spot for a good while, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the machines. It is not a quiet place. We have got our heavy tools and the workbenches where everything gets put together. Sometimes it is hot in the afternoon, so we leave the doors open to catch a breeze from the coast. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking the drawings. It is hard work on your hands and feet, but we like seeing a job get finished properly. We do not use any fancy software for everything, sometimes a pencil and a bit of paper works just as well. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how the other person works without having to say much. We just focus on the engineering tasks at hand and try to keep the shop organized, even if it gets messy by noon.
