Kailash Soda Pub

Kailash Soda Pub is at Plot No 3, 90 Feet Road. We are in Sakinaka, right near the Police Chowki. It’s a noisy spot because of the traffic on 90 Feet Road. You can always hear the horns and the engines. Being near the Police Chowki is handy, people use it as a landmark to find Plot No 3. The shop itself is a bit cramped. We have stuff piled up near the back wall. It’s not the cleanest place but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. Kailash Soda Pub is just a place where things happen every day. We don't have a big sign with lights. Just a regular one. The air in Sakinaka is always thick with the smell of the city and the exhaust. We get used to it. The lights flicker sometimes when the grid is heavy. We just keep working through it. It’s a busy life here. There’s always someone stopping by or a delivery coming in. We don't have much time for sitting around. Plot No 3 is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s got a bit of a leaky tap in the back and the door squeaks. We keep saying we will fix it but never get around to it. It’s just how it is. Kailash Soda Pub is just a part of the street. We stay until late when the streetlights finally come on. It's quite a long day for us.
