Kaffe Fresca

You can find us at Shop No 5 in the Nimnas CHS building, right on Dsk Road in Andheri West. It’s a busy part of Dadabhai, so there’s always noise from the street coming in through the door. We started this place because we wanted something simple in the neighborhood. The shop itself is small, with just a few tables pushed against the walls. We spend a lot of time behind the counter making coffee and toast for the morning crowd. Sometimes the espresso machine makes a weird grinding noise, but it still makes a good cup. We try to keep the place tidy, but with people coming and going all day, there’s usually a stray sugar packet or a napkin on the floor. The walls are a bit plain, maybe we’ll put something up one day, but for now, it’s just the basics. We get a lot of students and people who work nearby stopping in. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when everyone wants a break at the same time. The hum of the refrigerator is the main sound when it’s quiet. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns with the shifts. We like being in this part of Andheri, even if the parking outside is a total nightmare. It’s just a regular cafe where you can sit for a bit without anyone bothering you.
