Kabra Steels

Kabra Steels is situated in Andheri West, right in the Shree Laxmi Vijay Industrial Estate on New Link Road. It’s a really busy area of Mumbai. Our unit is B-32. We deal with steel, which means our space is always full of heavy metal beams, channels, and plates. Being in an industrial estate like Laxmi means there is always a lot of movement around us. Other businesses are doing their thing, and trucks are coming in and out of the narrow lanes. We spend our days cutting steel to size or loading it up for delivery. It’s a dusty job and the noise of metal hitting metal is something you hear all day long. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our work is done right there on the shop floor with the cranes and the cutters. People who need steel for their projects come to us because they know we are right here in Andheri. We keep a variety of stock because you never know what someone might need for a building site or a repair job. The office is just a small corner where we keep the bills and the records. It’s a very hands-on business. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we know the local transporters and the other shop owners around the New Link Road area. It’s just regular work, handling steel and making sure the customers get what they asked for.
