K S Iyer Associates

Our office for K S Iyer Associates is on the third floor of the Family Building. It is an old structure in Parel East, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. Dr Batliwala Road is usually packed with people and vendors, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to work. We have been working out of Flat No 13 for quite some time now. The rooms are filled with stacks of folders and the constant sound of typing. Mumbai heat can be tough in the afternoons, but we have our fans going full blast. It is a very lived-in space. There are pictures on the walls that have been there for years and some plants that we try to keep alive. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. When someone comes in, one of us just looks up from our desk and says hello. Parel has a lot of history and you can feel it in these old buildings. We like being in this part of the city even if the traffic is a nightmare most days. Most of our day is spent looking at numbers or talking on the phone with folks. It is a regular office where we do regular work. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. People know where to find us if they need us. We just keep things moving and stay on top of the pile.
