We are located at No.3, Giri Kunj on Sir Balachandra Road. Matunga is a busy part of Mumbai, and being here at Plot No.318 keeps us right in the middle of everything. We have been handling numbers and tax papers for quite a while now. Some days the office gets really quiet when everyone is buried in their ledgers, and other days the phones won't stop ringing. It’s just how things go for us here at K S Aiyar & Co. Chartered Accountants. The walk from the station isn't too bad unless it's monsoon season, then it's a bit of a mess. We see people heading to work every morning while we settle in with our tea. Most of our time is spent looking at spreadsheets or talking to folks who come by with their folders full of receipts. It isn't glamorous work, but it needs doing. Our desks are usually covered in some kind of paperwork, and we try to keep it organized, though it gets harder during the busy months. People in the neighborhood know the building well. It’s got that old Mumbai feel to it. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a workspace where we get on with the job. If you’re around Matunga, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. We’re just part of the local landscape, doing what we do every single day.
