We have our office in Prabhadevi, situated right at Shop Number 1 on Plot Number 930, just off the main Pune Mumbai Road. Being in a shop-front style space means we see everything that happens on the street. It’s a busy location with cars and buses rushing by constantly. The office isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we use the space. We’ve got our desks lined up, and the walls are mostly just bare or covered with a few necessary charts. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't spend money on making the place look like a showroom. People come in to talk about their requirements, and we sit down right there and then to go over things. The noise from the main road is always there, but you stop noticing it after the first hour of work. We’ve been in Prabhadevi for years and have seen the area grow and change. There used to be fewer buildings around, but now it’s all built up. Our shop remains pretty much the same as it was on day one. We keep the tea brewing and the paperwork moving. It’s a simple life here. No fancy titles or big speeches. We just do the work that comes our way and try to be helpful to the people who walk through our door. It’s just a local business doing its best in a busy part of Mumbai where everyone is always in a hurry.
