K G N Optics

We’ve been running K G N Optics for a good number of years now. Our shop is at units 2 and 3 on the ground floor. It’s right there in the Fort area, just across from that A and B Mini Corner place which everyone seems to know. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work for us. Most days start with wiping down the glass cases because the dust from the street always finds a way in. We handle all kinds of spectacles and lens work. It’s mostly just me and a helper here. We don't have any of those fancy computerized systems you see in the big malls. We do things by hand and with the old machines we've had since we opened. Sometimes the frames people bring in are decades old and they just want them fixed up a bit. We don't mind that. It’s nice to see things last. The street outside is always buzzing with people heading to work or catching the train. Sometimes someone pops in just to ask for directions because we're right on the corner. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights, just our name above the door. It’s a simple life. We close up when the sun goes down and head home like everyone else. If you come by, you'll probably see us sitting near the front, just waiting for the next person to walk through. It's nothing special, just a local shop.
